10,000 Records!

MGL passed the 10K milestone.

We have officially been "live" for one year since launch date January 24, 2007 . Time sure flies when you're having fun!

January 2008

Welcome Royal Oak librarians: MARGIE KOWALCZYK and MARY ANN DEKANE.

They are part of the Royal Oak Health Information Portal (ROHIP) ropl.org/health project. LINDA DRAPER, MGL project director trained and will follow-up with Margie and Mary Ann as new selectors. They will review health services in the Royal Oak area, to audit existing records and add new records to the database.

MGL exhibited a poster, Michigan Go Local: Online Statewide Directory of Public Health Services and More at Michigan's Premier Public Health Conference in Dearborn MI.

Public health professionals were greeted by LINDA DRAPER, JILL TURNER and DEBORAH CHARBONNEAU of Shiffman Medical Library.
